October 2014– It is with immense pleasure that we can announce that last month’s launch of our Stronger Together complimentary course has been a great success – remember this course is provided free of charge to help the Stronger Together initiative eradicate labour exploitation. September 2014– The big news this month is that we have launched our Stronger Together online course, written to compliment Stronger Together, a multi-stakeholder initiative aiming to reduce human trafficking, forced labour and other hidden party exploitation of workers. “Stronger Together” is a multi-stakeholder collaboration between supermarkets, the Association of Labour Providers, the Gangmasters Licensing Authority, Migrant Help, industry trade associations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), individual employers, labour providers and trade union representatives. “Stronger Together” has been developed within the UK food processing and packaging, horticultural and agricultural industries but the good practice and tools may be used in any sector where hidden labour exploitation occurs. The objective of “Stronger Together” is to reduce the occurrence of forced labour, labour trafficking and other forms of hidden third party labour exploitation. As a sign of our total commitment to help eradicate this heinous practice, we are offering this course FREE OF CHARGE to every existing client.

December 2013– Well that’s another year that has come to an end – they go so quickly! 2013 has been a fabulous year, one that has seen us go from strength to strength and grow our business into many overseas markets, including Malaysia, Philippines, UAE and India. July 12th 2013BREAKING NEWS. ASDA have announced that all food manufacturers making ASDA brand products will, from 1st October 2013, be required to have their BRC audits undertaken unannounced!. This requirement will be for the full Option 1 audit. Only a maximum of 15 days can be blocked out from the audit plan by prior arrangement with your certification body, and the absence of key management should not be considered a justifiable cause for an audit not to be appropriate. The unannounced audit will typically take place within the last 3 or 4 months of the certification cycle, e.g. if your last audit was in January, you unannounced audit could be anytime between September/October and January. Usually the audit will commence within 30 minutes of the auditor arriving on site, note that denying the auditor access to site will result in the site’s certification being suspended. Remember we are here to help – we have the full Level 2 Food Safety and other courses available to assist you in providing the training required to employees, we also have the brand new Allergen Awareness 45 online course available to help fulfil the BRC Allergen training requirements.

March 2013– Are you subject to the British Retail Consortium rules and regulations regarding Allergens? The newly released BRC Global Standards for Food Safety Issue 6 specifically states that "All personnel, including engineers, temporary staff and contractors, shall have received general allergen awareness training and be appropriately trained in the company's allergen handling procedures"– if this affects you then please make contact, we have a course that meets the BRC standards and will enable you to easily fulfil their requirements.

June 2007 - £1 million funding has been secured for the provision of NVQs throughout the UK Food and Drink sector.

May 2007 – Pilot Scheme proposed for provision of We Teach You e-learning courses throughout Iraq via the University of Baghdad. The proposals will enable learners in Iraq to benefit from We Teach You courses via the University of Baghdad technical infrastructure.

April 2007 – We Teach You and Total Training Resources celebrate merger. Two leading providers of online and NVQ training have today announced a definitive agreement to merge – the new company, trading under the WTY Group umbrella, will be effective immediately and will enable us to provide online training AND fully funded NVQ/Apprenticeship training to clients – initially in the Food and Drink sector.

March 2007 – We Teach You are pleased to announce a partnership with the Chinese Business Support Group. The partnership enables CHBSG to promote the Real Talk English ESOL courseware throughout Chinese Business in the UK and mainland China.

January 2007 – CEPU and WTY launch We Teach You’s unique Real Talk English ESOL online courses through a new office in Beijing. This office, with its own technical infrastructure, enables students throughout China to access our courses with minimal bandwidth delay.

August 2006 – Joint working partnership contract signed with CEPU, one of Europe’s largest training providers with its Head Offices in Italy. This venture enables CEPU and WTY to offer its combined courses through CEPU’s existing network of 120 offices and 5600 staff.

June 2006 –Office opened in South Africa enabling We Teach You to service companies throughout Africa with our award winning e-learning courses.

October 2005 - The established IOSH Working Safely syllabus is now available online or on CD Rom. This accredited course includes the official examination and certification.

April 2005 – National Autistic Society students pass with flying colours. At an award ceremony, we were delighted to present ECDL Certificates to students at the National Autistic Society – a long term and very valued customer.

March 2005 – Contract won to deliver the UK’s first on-line ESOL course to match to UK Governments latest curriculum. We are very pleased to announce that WTY Group have been awarded the contract by North Warwickshire and Hinckley College to develop a fully interactive Entry Level 1, 2 and 3 ESOL course – to be named Real Talk English.

January 2005 – After a testing bidding process, we are very proud to announce that We Teach You have been selected as the online training partner (I.T. subjects including Microsoft Office) to Mitsubishi UK. We look forward to building a long lasting relationship with Mitsubishi and their employees.
